This year the film festival had record attendance, in fact so much that it was standing room only at one point. There were 18 accepted films that were screened with a new record of 10 submitted by Brickworld Registered Attendees. The organizers, Casey McCoy and Tyler Eyerly, decided to up their game for production value with the film festival this year with a red carpet, "ticketed" entry for the QR codes, suits, encouraging others to dress up, etc. and they are plan going bigger for the future. Next year the Brickworld's 2025 theme will be "Braving the Elements". Expect an official announcement regarding rules and prizes from the cinema team in early 2025.
Lastly, several legendary brickfilmers, Adam Nies, Forrest Whaley, and Kevin Ulrich, were in attendance.
