SHAC 2025 was announced at Brickfilms.com. SHAC, the Seventy-two Hour Animation Contest, is a brickfilming contest that lasts 72 hours. Participants have 3 days to brainstorm, write, record, film, edit & submit a brickfilm all within the time limit. It's a 3 day version of THAC. The contest begins Friday, April 11th at 12 p.m. EDT and ends Monday, April 14th at 12 p.m. EDT. Check out the official rules HERE. Steinerei 2025 has recently been announced. It will be held in Chemnitz, Germany on June 8, 2025 at the Metropol Cinema. Steinerei Brickfilm Festival has been held annually at a different location since 2005. Films shown at Steinerei adhere to a specific theme which is "invisibility" this year. Each film will be shown for the first time, premiere, at the festival.
The deadline to enter a brickfilm is May 2, 2025. The Steinerei announcement can be found HERE and the registration form can be found HERE. The Bricks in Motion Awards 2024 results have now been announced.
