This year’s panel—Chris W., JaguarBrickFilms, Teutonic Pictures, and Maosl - evaluated every submitted film. Each judge created a personal Top 30, which were then combined using an instant‑runoff system to generate a unified Top 15. From there, the judges collaboratively refined the list into a final Top 25, weighing story, production value, creativity, and overall cohesion.

Best Newcomer Award
A new prize introduced this year recognizes rising talent in the community. The 2026 Best Newcomer Award went to Up in Frames Animation for their entry Just Off Target, celebrating standout work from a creator still early in their brickfilming journey.
The results post along with the livestream also announced that Chris W. would be stepping down from roles of Bricks in Motion co-administrator and host of BRAWL. Chris emphasized that the decision came without drama—simply the right moment to pass the torch. AeroNomad, this year’s third‑place winner, has been named the new co-administrator. Chris reflected on the contest’s impact since 2018, noting that over 800 brickfilms have been created for BRAWL during his tenure. He expressed deep gratitude to the community, fellow staff, and collaborator Penta, and confirmed he will remain active as a moderator. With a new administrator and a future host yet to be chosen, the Bricks in Motion community enters a fresh chapter. But the spirit of BRAWL remains unchanged: a celebration of creativity, dedication, and the joy of bringing LEGO worlds to life—one frame at a time.
