BFG member Alex Kobbs, of KooberzStudios hosted a special animation workshop at the Stamford Museum and Nature Center in Stamford, CT on February 23, 2014. The SOLD OUT program was called Lights! Camera! Action! LEGO® Animation. The ages 10 and up group built an animation set and learned how "to make their minifigs, as well as vehicles come alive through stop motion animation." BrickFlix announced late last month on their website that they will be taking the year off and not have a 2014 festival. The BrickFlix Film Festival is the brickfilming festival held at the Carolina Theatre in Durham, North Carolina. They held the festival from 2010-2013 and hope to be back next year.
