BRAWL 2023 Has Started

Brickfilm Rapidly All Week Long or BRAWL, has begun. Any entries not received by July 1st, 2023, 7:00PM EDT (Eastern Daylight Time) will be disqualified.

The story theme for BRAWL 2023 is Connection and the color MOD element is: a RED piece connected to or directly touching a YELLOW piece. The letter MOD element is the letter 'J'.

Entries will be judged for "originality, production values (animation, set design, cinematography, sound, etc.), story, and creative interpretation of the theme".

The top 20 entries will be ranked and great prizes supplied by LEGO Ambassador Network are available to the top three.

2023 Brickworld Film Festival Results

The 2023 Brickwold Film Festival has completed and was a success. In total, three were 14 films (5 for Attendee) that were accepted into the festival. The winners are as follows.

Best Film (Attendee):
Hot Doggone by BlueBrick

Bluebrick was awarded this brick trophy.

Judges Choice:
Rise Up by Anna Huet

International Choice:
Harry Potter Gags Combined by BrotherhoodWorkshop

The festival organizers (Casey McCoy and Tyler J. Eyerly) have already started plotting to take the film festival to an even bigger level for next year. The 2024 Brickworld theme will be "Let's Go Exploring!" and thus will be also be the theme for the film festival.

Steinerei 2023 Brickfilm Festival Results

The Steinerei 2023 Brickfilm Festival was held yesterday June 10 in Leverkusen, Germany at the Scala Cinema. The theme this year was "Wahre Größe" / "True Greatness". This year's expert panel of judges included: André Hoffmann, Angela Figerhuth, and Hans Präßler.
