On Friday, March 23, 2017 at the Avalon in Los Angeles, Tongal had an awards show called the Tongies IV. Tongal is a company that “develops content strategies and produces video for every platform.” LEGO often uses Tongal to market their products.  Disney, which has LEGO products, also uses Tongal for marketing. Two BFG members received nominations for their Tongal projects.  Somethings Awry Productions' The Beatles' LEGO Yellow Submarine vs. the Sea Monster video received nominations in the Best Animation and Video of the Year category. Kevin Ulrich, BrotherhoodWorkshop, had a nominitaion for his LEGO Share and Kindness Video in the Best Animation category.  Kevin also wrote the screen play, was a VFX artist, and did some of the animation in the Star Wars Go Rogue Series which was nominated and  won the Best Video and Best Original Content categories. Kevin received credit for the video along with Mack and Tuck Productions.

Other notable brickfilmers nomintations included Sam Lawlace for his “LEGO American Ninja Warrior 2017” video.

A video of awards show was Live on Facebook.

Both Kevin Ulrich and Something’s Awry Productions have both done BFG Podcasts.
