Steinerei 2018 Results

On May 19 Steinerei 2018 took place in the Metropolis Cinema in Hamburg, Germany. In the completely sold-out house, the 13 Brickfilm finalists were shown and the winners were awarded, all of whom were also present on site.

The winners in the categories:

Brickfilms Award
1st Place: Mord in der Manege (A&M Studios und Legostudio01)
2nd Place: Quest for Life (Silent Frames)
3rd Place: Heldenhaft (Vetternwirtschaft) (Altlandstudios)

Prize of the Jury
1st Place: Heldenhaft (Vetternwirtschaft) (Altlandstudios)
2nd Place: Welt-Held (Stemü)
3rd Place: Quest for Life (Silent Frames)

A Special prize was awarded by jury to Keep Talking (Golego).

Audience Award
1st Place: Heldenhaft (Vetternwirtschaft) (Altlandstudios)
2nd Place: Mord in der Manege (A&M Studios und Legostudio01)
3rd Place: Quest for Life (Silent Frames)

This Star Wars Celebration Month event is similar in nature to Brickfilm Day in that several brickfilmers will each produce a Star Wars brickfilm (or a video relating to Star Wars brickfilms) to be released across the event’s timespan. However, rather than all participants uploading their video on the same day, they will be spread out, one a day, across 3 weeks between Friday, May 4th (Star Wars Day) and Friday, May 25th (the release date of 'Solo'). This allows for a greater spotlight on each individual film and creator. For more information see the announcement video below. (C&P announcement description)
