Brickflix Lite for 2015 Announced

The Set Bump recently announced Brickflix for 2015. It will not be held in the historic Carolina Theatre in Durham, North Carolina, as it has been in past years. This year it will be part of BrickMagic 2015 in Concord, North Carolina and consist of "an ongoing, looped screening of brickfilms shown in the theater room during festival hours." Also because it will not be in the Carolina Theater, "the restrictions on films with licensed characters has been relaxed." The deadline for entries is May 1st, 2015. FAQ here; submit here!

Easter2015 Contest Results

The results to the Easter 2015 contest on BIM were posted today on Bricks In Motion. Only a top ten list was presented along with a scoring card which had some irregularities. A few hours after the results were announced a revision was made to the top 10 and France & Alex moved up to 3rd place.

It was wonderful to see such a quick turn around on the judging, but some disappointment in the judging process was posted in the "Results" forum.

Brotherhood Workshop won 2014 BFG Brickfilmer of the Year. BFG Brickfilmer of the Year is voted on by the members of the Brickfilmer's Guild. Brotherhood Workshop previously won the 2013 BFG Brickfilmer of the Year. Congratulations!
