The several thousand expo attendees were able to watch the brickfilms which were playing all day long on repeat, so it was basically a drop in cinema where people could come in sit and watch a few brickfilms before moving on to the rest of the convention.
Twenty-six stop motion brickfilms from across Europe and the Americas (North and South) were screened.
The audience voted for the best contributions, and three winners were awarded and won some LEGO sets. The winners of the 1st KLOSSexpo Film Festival are:
1. Star Destroyer Shenanigans by Imaginator Productions
2. LEGO James Bond 007: GoldenEye by Comindo
3. The Gringotts Adventure by Digital Wizards Studios
There was also a stop motion studio workshop where people could give their try at doing LEGO stop motion.
Since the film festival and hands on stop motion studio was such a success, it will reoccur next year.
