Brickfilm Day has announced the date for Brickfilm Day 2023 and it will be on Saturday May 13th. The annual Brickfilm Day event is a non-competitive celebration of the brickfilming community. Animators come together to each release a brickfilm, or brickfilming related video, on the same day.
This May marks the 50th anniversary of brickfilming so this Brickfilm Day will be special. In 1973 cousins Lars and Henrik Hassing created the first known brickfilm ever made - Journey to the Moon It was a gift for their grandparents' golden wedding anniversary on May 16 1973.
