The winners of the ReBrick LEGO Movie were announced today. Brotherhoodworkshop won first place withGorgy Wants a Horse. The 2011 BFG Brickfilmer of the Year, Paganomation (David Pagano), placed second with Garbage Man. Pedro Sequeria took third with Unity is Strength. Honorable shout out from the judges went to PARTY TIME! by CYRUS AND FRANK.
This was a fairly well run contest with reasonably fast results especially considering major Hollywood directors judged the brickfilms. The only unfortunate thing I saw from the contest was that Kooberz was unable to get enough likes to make the semi-finals. He submitted late in the entry phase. His entry was definitely one of the best 25. Perhaps any entry that did not follow the rules correctly, should have not counted. There were a few entries with the wrong aspect ratio.
