The festival began this year with the documentary Bricks in Motion, a film is about brickfilming and brickfilmers, and includes interviews from several brickfilmers. Most of the brickfilmers in the documentary have had their work shown at Cine Brick this year or in past years.
Tommy Williamson was in attendance this year, and a section called "Bricknerd Special" was presented by him and included all his brickfilms.
The world premiere of Sheep, by Maxime Marion was also shown. That brickfilm had its first screening and also won first place.
