Joshua Vennetti of Vennetti Animation Studios and Plastic Point Productions started a Kickstarter project called Saul of Tarsus which will be a 25-minute, stop-motion animated epic; a biblical historical drama that tells the story of Paul the apostle during his youth. Fellow BFG member Stephany Alfaro Barrera of GUATEMAX Animations will be doing the digital facial animations for the project. The project currently has $6105 pledged of the US $7,500 goal. The project is "All or nothing" so it will only be funded if it reaches its goal by Friday September 30, 2022 7:00 AM EDT. The project has rewards, which include a digital download, signed poster prints, DVDs, and more. The cast will feature professional actors. You can find the Kickstarter page HERE. Greg Tull of Monitogo Studios has also begun a Kickstarter project called Wandering Skies: Stop Motion TV. It will be "Epic steampunk in the sky" about a single mother and her Aspergers son who fight to survive amongst floating islands and vicious rival factions.The project currently has $4049 pledged of the US $15,000 goal. The project is "All or nothing" so it will only be funded if it reaches its goal by Sunday October 23, 2022 6:04 PM EDT. The project has rewards, which include digital downloads, cool merchandise, exclusive posters, LEGO models and more. You can find the Kickstarter page HERE.
